Help! There's a block on my writer's path!

It's a landslide that completely covers the roadway. There's some fallen trees mixed in, a tipped-over semi surrounded by smudge pots and scores of onlookers and somewhere, in the distance, a barking dog. The only way through is to dig. Sift through the rubble, push aside the trees, and dig and dig and dig some more.

All I've got is a teaspoon.

Crap.

Icky writer's block. :( How's the weather? I like to take a walk when I'm feeling blocked up.

Hang in there!!

Wind chill today is -1. Bitter. Plus there's that unfortunate thing called work that I'm stuck at. Boo.

Thanks, Honey!

Good luck moving past the block. It can't be easy with temperatures like that! (I'd just want to curl up in warm blankets and read).

Is there a story, a scene, anything at all that's floating around your head that's miles away from the current story? Working on something else can sometimes help unplug you.

Teaspoonful by teaspoonful, it's still forward progress! You'll get there! I'm rooting for you!
