Accountability
I've decided that in order to keep myself going, I needed a report card (more or less). So I added yet another item to my sidebar: Progress Report. It is my goal to increase the numbers there on a daily basis.

I just added a progress meter to my sidebar. I think it's working. But there's something about it being so public that is still bothering me. Hope this does the trick for you!
Actually, I just added a "Page Element" in Layout and wrote it in. I'll have to go in and change the numbers, but that's easy.
